This week, after Fashion week and market week occurred, Company X participated in Coterie. Coterie is a large fashion trade show held at the New York City Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The event lasts three days, February 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. This trade show consisted of many fashion brands and fashion industry professionals. The fashion designers show-off their latest products and lines to visitors or customers and provide information and services to them.
Company X showed their new Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear collection to buyers and industry professionals. Coterie gave Company X really good exposure and it racked up tons of sales! This was a great event for any fashion brand to expand its business and to interact with industry experts, buyers, or new clients. During those three days, the Javits Center was a central hub for manufacturers, retailers, designers, and consultants to all meet and interact in one place. It was a great experience!

Christina Corrado is currently a sophomore at Fordham University. She is a Marketing major in the Gabelli School of Business. Originally from Summit, New Jersey, Christina has always made time to get into New York City for internships, shopping, events, and more! Christina aspires to have a business career in the fashion industry.
