You may have seen this designer's garments in a recent capsule collection at Forever 21. As of March 4th, Rory Edelmen debuted her fun and flirty Rory Beca collection for Forever 21 and even made an appearance at the store in Times Square! We're super sad we couldn't make it to the launch to meet the designer herself, but we are excited to have her participate in our fashion show this year.

Designs from Rory Beca's previous collections will be featured on our runway, April 1st. Rory Beca is know for her feminine yet sexy pieces that are super accessible and wearable. Perfect for our runway and our theme, "New York is My Runway, Fordham is My School." What's even more exciting is that these pieces will also be raffled off at the show to benefit The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Metro New York.

You can win either of Rory Beca's two looks at our show along with tons of other fabulous prizes. Hope to see you all on April 1st and be sure to check out Rory Beca's latest collection and designs here.

"A new brand of accessible luxury. A new voice in modern fashion." Apartstyle.com, one of my new favorite shopping websites has something for just about everyone. Their Lookbooks and "Shop the Looks" pages are incredibly styled and provide the perfect inspiration for any aspiring New York Fashionista.

One of my favorite things Apartstyle.com offers is their Shop2gether feature which allows you to chat with your friends on their page and keep favorites of looks and items that you love. You never have to shop online alone again! Super innovative and fun!

Fashion for Philanthropy is super excited to have APART Style feature two looks at our fashion show on April 1st in the Rose Hill Gym. While I do have the inside scoop as far as which two specific looks will be featured in our show, I don't want to give it away just yet! In addition, APART Style is also donating the items that are seen on the runway; you could win the looks from the show! All proceeds benefit The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Metro New York.

Check out APART Style here and let us know what looks you think may be featured on our runway! Can't wait to reveal the looks on April 1st!

As I walk around Manhattan, I constantly spot young women with distinctive brown and white striped bags. Everyone knows those iconic stripes could only mean one of Manhattan’s most fashionable shopping destinations, Henri Bendel! From chic jewelry to exquisite beauty products, Henri Bendel is a girl’s shopping paradise!

Soon, you’ll be able to see brown and white at Fashion For Philanthropy’s fashion show! Henri Bendel has given us a signature brown and white hatbox filled with bath and beauty goodies to be raffled off the show! What could be more New York than that?

Henri Bendel always has what’s new in accessories and gifts and has been serving women with irresistibly stylish treats for over a hundred years! Nothing says Manhattan fashion than a pretty something from Henri Bendel, and we are oh-so excited for their participation!

Good luck to those who will be trying to win this prize, and be sure to check out the store in New York on 712 Fifth Avenue or visit their website.

Check out Fashion for Philanthropy on College Gloss, an online magazine written by and for college women featuring fashion, food, and fun!

Fashion For Philanthropy is thrilled to announce that award winning designer Cynthia Rowley has decided to participate in our auction. Cynthia has donated a private party for the winner and 50 friends at her Bleecker Street store. Not only will the party goers receive champagne and sweets but also a generous discount on all apparel and accessories.

The highlight of the package is that Cynthia Rowley herself will make a personal appearance at the party. From my personal experience of meeting Ms. Rowley, I can attest to her down-to-earth, friendly, Mid-Western charm that will make the winner of this package a very lucky person!

As with all of the items being auctioned off,  proceeds will benefit The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Metro New York. Be sure to come to our Spring fashion show on April 1st to participate in the auction and maybe you will be the lucky winner of the Cynthia Rowley party!

The Fashion for Philanthropy's show is quickly approaching and we are excited to announce that Hollywood Fashion Tape will be featured in our fabulous gift bags! They have generously donated 300 samples from their Keep Your Clothes On collection.

Their fashion tape can be used to eliminate blouse gaps, hide bra straps, anchor shoe straps, close wrap styles, secure revealing necklines, fix hems fast, and hold up strapless tops.

I LOVE their products! I always use Hollywood Fashion Tape to secure my strapless party dresses and fix stubborn sleeves on my U-neck tops. It’s an essential accessory!

They have plenty of other great products that you can check out on their website. Thank goodness for Hollywood Fashion Tape! Saving us from fashion disasters everyday!
